Requiem

This is not my car; just a picture of what my car looked like and how it looked this time, last Tuesday.  Currently my car is around the corner from the library, (where I am sitting), at the smash repairers.  It’s been assessed as a total loss.

I just said goodbye to my faithful companion these last 11 years and thanked her for keeping me safe.

Someone once said that the books we love, love us right back.

It’s the same with cars.  I like this image; it tells me the Spirit of my car has gone to Elysium Fields where it can dream its Formula-1 dreams.
